Creamy Lemonade

If you've never made homemade creamy lemonade before, you're in for a real treat! This refreshing drink is the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and creamy, making it one of my favorite summer recipes. It reminds me of a cross between fresh squeezed lemonade and a lemon cream pie with a smooth, velvety texture that's absolutely irresistible.

The best part is that it only takes a handful of simple ingredients and just a few minutes to make. There are no fancy syrups or complicated steps. Just fresh lemons, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and water blended together into the most delicious summer drink.

One of the secrets to this recipe is using the whole lemons, peel and all. Simply cut the ends off the lemons, quarter them, and add them right to the blender. The peel adds incredible fresh citrus flavor, but there's one very important trick. Do not overblend! Blend for only 20 to 30 seconds. If you blend the lemons too long, the peel begins releasing bitter oils that can overpower the lemonade. A quick blend gives you all that bright lemon flavor without the bitterness.

Once everything is blended, strain the lemonade through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. Gently press on the pulp with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible while leaving the peel behind. You'll be left with a smooth, creamy lemonade that's ready to pour over a glass full of ice.
