Hi, I’m Ashley Ripple, the creator of Bugsy and Company — a food-focused brand I launched in 2022 that has grown into a community of more than half a million followers.

I’m a self-taught home cook who believes that beautiful, satisfying food doesn’t require fancy tools or expensive ingredients. My approach to cooking is simple, approachable, and rooted in care, creativity, and heart. Whether I’m sharing an easy weeknight dinner or a comfort-food favorite, my goal is always the same: to help people feel confident cooking meals they’re proud to serve.

When I say “we” at Bugsy and Company, I mean the people (and pups) who make this kitchen what it is. Some of my favorite moments are spent cooking alongside my niece, Mackenzie, sharing recipes, laughs, and the joy that comes from being together in the kitchen. Just outside the kitchen, my two Frenchies, Bailey and Lucy, wait — not very patiently — to taste test anything that might fall their way.

Beyond the kitchen, I’m deeply passionate about community service. I’ve used my platform to give back locally by organizing a food drive in support of students at a local high school and, the year prior, helping establish a resource closet that provides toiletries, basic hygiene items, and school uniforms for students in need.

For me, cooking and community go hand in hand. I believe food has the power to nourish families, bring people together, and strengthen the communities we call home.
